How we approach it

Hormone protocols start with your history and, where your physician asks for it, lab work. Testosterone is a controlled medication, so it is prescribed after a live visit. Growth-hormone secretagogues prompt the pituitary to make its own growth hormone.

Questions

Why does testosterone need a live visit?

Testosterone is a controlled medication. It is prescribed after a live sync controlled consult ($79), and your physician may ask for lab work first.

Which hormones protocol is right for me?

Your physician decides, after a consult, based on your history, your goals and, where needed, your labs. Nothing ships unless your physician prescribes it.

Where do the medications come from?

Peptides come from U.S.-licensed cGMP manufacturers; compounded solutions are prepared by state-licensed 503A pharmacies. Each protocol page shows which applies.

Important safety information

Testosterone cypionate is a Schedule III controlled substance, prescribed only after a live visit; it can raise red-blood-cell count and blood pressure, and affect fertility and the prostate.

CJC-1295, ipamorelin and compounded tesamorelin are not FDA-approved for these uses; growth-hormone secretagogues can cause fluid retention, joint pain and higher blood sugar.

Oxandrolone and the testosterone creams are Schedule III controlled substances. Estrogen therapy carries risks of stroke, blood clots and some cancers. Thyroid hormones must never be used for weight loss. Somatropin is prescribed only for approved uses such as diagnosed deficiency.

Each protocol page lists its full safety information.
